Though many chemicals in beauty products and cosmetics pose minimal or absolutely no threat, several dozen have been linked with significant medical conditions, including cancer, and neurological harm. Chemicals in cosmetics enter a person's body through the skin, inhalation, ingestion and internal use, and pose the same problems as food chemicals, per this site.
