Although most chemicals in beauty products and cosmetics present little or zero danger, several dozen have been linked to severe health issues, including cancer, and neurological harm. Cosmetic chemicals invade the body through internal use, the skin, and inhalation, and cause similar problems as food chemicals, per this site.

Chemicals linked to cancer can be found in food and lots of other commonly used goods.
