While most chemicals in beauty products and cosmetics pose very little or absolutely no danger, several dozen are linked to substantial medical conditions, including cancer, and neurological harm. Chemicals in cosmetics invade the body through internal use, the skin, and inhalation, and pose the same problems as food chemicals, per this site.

Chemicals and contaminants associated with cancer are found in food and lots of other commonly used goods. But, no group of consumer goods is subject to less government management than cosmetics, including Love, trust & fairy dust eye & cheek palette. Although many of the contaminants and chemicals in cosmetics and personal care products in all likelihood present little risk, being exposed to a few has been associated with worrying health problems, including cancer.
