Although the majority of chemicals in cosmetics present very little or zero risk, some have been associated with significant medical issues, such as cancer, reproductive and neurological harm, and developmental delays. Chemicals in cosmetics enter the body through ingestion, inhalation, and internal use, and pose the same problems as food chemicals, per this site.

Chemicals linked to cancer can be found in food, water, and several other ordinary goods. But, no sector of consumer goods is susceptible to less government oversight than cosmetics and other personal products, including CONCEALER JAR. Though most of the contaminants and chemicals in cosmetics and personal care products likely present minimal risk, being exposed to some has been linked to worrying health issues, including cancer.
