Though the majority of chemicals in beauty products present minimal or no threat, some have been linked with substantial health conditions, such as neurological harm and cancer. Chemicals in cosmetics get into the body through ingestion, inhalation, and internal use, and lead to the same problems as food chemicals, per this site.
