Although most chemicals in beauty products and cosmetics pose little or no danger, dozens are associated to significant medical issues, such as cancer, reproductive and neurological harm, and developmental delays. Chemicals in cosmetics get into the body through the skin, inhalation, ingestion and internal use, and pose the same risks as food chemicals, per this site.

Chemicals associated with cancer are found in food and a lot of other commonly used items. However, no group of consumer items is accountable to less government direction than cosmetics, including my pure body - body cleanser_ cedar wood.
