While the majority of chemicals in cosmetic products present little or zero threat, several dozen are associated to considerable medical problems, including developmental delays and cancer. Chemicals in cosmetics invade the body through inhalation, the skin, and ingestion, and pose the same problems as food chemicals, per this site.

Chemicals linked to cancer are found in food and various other everyday items. But, no classification of consumer items is accountable to less government direction than cosmetics, including blusher 02 (my duo) - part 2. While most of the chemicals in cosmetics and personal care products in all likelihood pose little risk, subjection to a few has been linked to serious health disorders, such as cancer.
