Though many chemicals in beauty products pose minimal or absolutely no risk, dozens are linked with serious medical conditions, including neurological harm and cancer. Cosmetic chemicals invade the body through ingestion, inhalation, and internal use, and lead to the same risks as food chemicals, per this site.

Chemicals and contaminants linked to cancer can be found in food and lots of other ordinary products.
