Although many chemicals in beauty products and cosmetics pose limited or absolutely no danger, dozens have been linked to severe health conditions, including neurological harm and cancer. Cosmetic chemicals enter a person's body through ingestion, inhalation, and internal use, and lead to similar risks as food chemicals, per this site.

Chemicals linked to cancer can be found in food and various other everyday goods.
