Although the majority of chemicals in cosmetic products pose little or absolutely no risk, dozens are associated with severe medical issues, including cancer, and neurological harm. Cosmetic chemicals can enter your body through the skin, inhalation, ingestion and internal use, and cause the same risks as food chemicals, per this site.

Chemicals associated with cancer can be found in water, food, and lots of other everyday goods. But, no category of consumer goods is accountable to less government management than cosmetics and other personal products, including my eyeshadow (shimmer) 30.
