Though many chemicals in cosmetic products present very little or no threat, several are linked with serious medical issues, such as cancer, and neurological harm. Cosmetic chemicals gain entry to your body through ingestion, inhalation, and internal use, and cause the same risks as food chemicals, per this site.

Chemicals linked to cancer are found in food and many other commonly used products. Yet, no sector of consumer products is susceptible to less government management than cosmetics, including my eyeshadow (shimmer) 37.
