Chemicals associated with cancer are found in food, water, and various other everyday products. However, no classification of consumer products is subject to less government oversight than cosmetics and other personal products, including my eyeshadow (shimmer) 38. Although many of the contaminants and chemicals in cosmetics and personal care products likely present minimal risk, being exposed to a few is associated with critical health conditions, including cancer.
