Although the majority of chemicals in beauty products and cosmetics pose minimal or absolutely no danger, several are linked to considerable health issues, such as neurological harm and cancer. Chemicals in cosmetics can enter a person's body through ingestion, inhalation, and internal use, and lead to similar problems as food chemicals, per this site.

Chemicals linked to cancer can be found in food, water, and several other common goods. Yet, no category of consumer goods is subject to less government management than cosmetics, including my eyeshadow (matte) 17.
