Chemicals in cosmetics enter your body through ingestion, inhalation, and internal use, and cause the same risks as food chemicals, per this site.

Chemicals and contaminants associated with cancer can be found in food and several other commonly used goods. But, no type of consumer goods is accountable to less government oversight than cosmetics, including my eyeshadow (glitter) 11.
