Although the majority of chemicals in beauty products and cosmetics pose little or absolutely no risk, some have been associated to serious health conditions, such as cancer, reproductive and neurological harm, and developmental delays. Chemicals in cosmetics invade the body through internal use, the skin, and inhalation, and pose the same problems as food chemicals, per this site.

Chemicals linked to cancer are found in food, water, and several other ordinary goods. Still, no sector of consumer goods is susceptible to less government direction than cosmetics and other personal care products, including Lip Palette Vol.1 (Shade 11). Although most of the contaminants and chemicals in cosmetics almost certainly present very little risk, your exposure to some is linked to significant health disorders, including cancer.
