Though most chemicals in cosmetic products pose little or absolutely no threat, some have been linked with severe medical problems, including developmental delays and cancer. Chemicals associated with cancer can be found in food and several other ordinary products. Yet, no area of consumer products is subject to less government inspection than cosmetics and other personal products, including Nail Laquer.
