While most chemicals in beauty products and cosmetics pose little or no risk, several dozen have been associated to considerable health conditions, including cancer, and neurological harm. Cosmetic chemicals can enter the body through the skin, inhalation, ingestion and internal use, and cause similar risks as food chemicals, per this site.

Chemicals and contaminants associated with cancer can be found in food, water, and several other everyday items. But, no type of consumer items is susceptible to less government direction than cosmetics, including Stick Foundation (Truffle).
