While most chemicals in beauty products and cosmetics present minimal or absolutely no danger, dozens have been linked to serious medical problems, including cancer, and neurological harm. Chemicals in cosmetics invade the body through inhalation, ingestion, and the skin, and lead to similar risks as food chemicals, per this site.

Chemicals associated with cancer are found in water, food, and several other common products. Yet, no type of consumer products is subject to less government direction than cosmetics, including Stick Foundation (Porcelain).
