Although the majority of chemicals in beauty products and cosmetics pose very little or zero danger, dozens have been associated to significant medical conditions, including cancer, and neurological harm. Chemicals in cosmetics can enter the body through inhalation, the skin, and ingestion, and cause the same risks as food chemicals, per this site.

Chemicals and contaminants linked to cancer are found in food, water, and lots of other ordinary goods.
