Although many chemicals in cosmetics pose little or absolutely no risk, several dozen are linked to significant health problems, including cancer, and neurological harm. Chemicals in cosmetics invade the body through inhalation, the skin, and ingestion, and cause the same problems as food chemicals, per this site.
