Although most chemicals in beauty products pose limited or absolutely no threat, dozens are linked with significant medical problems, such as neurological harm and cancer. Cosmetic chemicals enter the body through ingestion, inhalation, and internal use, and cause the same problems as food chemicals, per this site.

Chemicals and contaminants linked to cancer can be found in food, water, and several other ordinary products.
