Although most chemicals in beauty products and cosmetics present limited or no danger, several dozen have been associated with significant health problems, such as neurological harm and cancer. Chemicals in cosmetics enter the body through the skin, inhalation, ingestion and internal use, and cause the same problems as food chemicals, per this site.
