Though many chemicals in beauty products and cosmetics present little or absolutely no danger, dozens have been linked to serious medical conditions, including cancer, and neurological harm. Cosmetic chemicals get into a person's body through the skin, inhalation, ingestion and internal use, and cause the same risks as food chemicals, per this site.

Chemicals associated with cancer are found in water, food, and several other ordinary goods.
