Yet, no group of consumer goods is subject to less government management than cosmetics, including Eye Pigment (Violet-6). Although most of the chemicals and contaminants in cosmetics and personal care products almost certainly pose minimal risk, exposure to a few has been linked to major health issues, including cancer.
