Though the majority of chemicals in cosmetic products present limited or absolutely no risk, some are associated with serious medical conditions, including cancer, reproductive and neurological harm, and developmental delays. Cosmetic chemicals invade the body through the skin, inhalation, ingestion and internal use, and cause the same risks as food chemicals, per this site.
