Contaminants and chemicals associated with cancer can be found in food and lots of other ordinary items. However, no type of consumer items is subject to less government oversight than cosmetics, including Eyeshadow (Chanel#87). Although most of the chemicals in cosmetics almost certainly present little risk, exposure to a few has been associated with significant health concerns, such as cancer.
