While many chemicals in beauty products and cosmetics pose limited or absolutely no risk, some are associated to significant medical conditions, including cancer, reproductive and neurological harm, and developmental delays. Cosmetic chemicals can enter the body through inhalation, ingestion, and the skin, and lead to the same problems as food chemicals, per this site.
