Though many chemicals in beauty products present very little or absolutely no risk, several dozen are associated to substantial health conditions, including cancer, reproductive and neurological harm, and developmental delays. Chemicals in cosmetics get into a person's body through the skin, inhalation, ingestion and internal use, and pose the same problems as food chemicals, per this site.

Contaminants and chemicals linked to cancer can be found in food and various other everyday goods. But, no classification of consumer goods is susceptible to less government oversight than cosmetics, including Lipgloss (Papaya Shade).
