Though most chemicals in beauty products and cosmetics present little or no danger, several dozen have been associated with considerable medical problems, such as neurological harm and cancer. Chemicals in cosmetics enter the body through ingestion, inhalation, and internal use, and pose the same problems as food chemicals, per this site.
