Although many chemicals in beauty products pose very little or absolutely no threat, several are associated to serious health problems, such as cancer, and neurological harm. Cosmetic chemicals can enter a person's body through ingestion, inhalation, and internal use, and lead to similar problems as food chemicals, per this site.
