While the majority of chemicals in beauty products and cosmetics present minimal or absolutely no risk, dozens are associated to significant medical conditions, including developmental delays and cancer. Chemicals in cosmetics enter the body through the skin, inhalation, ingestion and internal use, and lead to similar problems as food chemicals, per this site.

Chemicals associated with cancer are found in food, water, and many other ordinary items. Yet, no area of consumer items is accountable to less government management than cosmetics and other personal products, including Cocoa Powder Foundation- Light/Medium. While most of the chemicals in cosmetics and personal care products in all likelihood present very little risk, being exposed to some is associated with significant health disorders, such as cancer.
