Though many chemicals in cosmetic products pose little or zero danger, some have been associated with significant health problems, including cancer, reproductive and neurological harm, and developmental delays. Cosmetic chemicals enter the body through ingestion, inhalation, and internal use, and lead to the same risks as food chemicals, per this site.
