While the majority of chemicals in cosmetics present limited or absolutely no danger, several dozen are associated with considerable medical conditions, such as cancer, and neurological harm. Cosmetic chemicals gain entry to the body through ingestion, inhalation, and internal use, and cause the same risks as food chemicals, per this site.
Chemicals associated with cancer are found in food and several other ordinary goods. However, no type of consumer goods is susceptible to less government management than cosmetics, including Nail Polish. While most of the chemicals and contaminants in cosmetics and personal care products almost certainly present very little risk, exposure to some is associated with substantial health disorders, such as cancer.
