Although many chemicals in beauty products and cosmetics present very little or absolutely no danger, dozens have been linked with serious medical issues, including cancer, and neurological harm. Chemicals in cosmetics enter the body through the skin, inhalation, ingestion and internal use, and pose the same risks as food chemicals, per this site.

Contaminants and chemicals associated with cancer can be found in food, water, and many other ordinary products. However, no classification of consumer products is susceptible to less government inspection than cosmetics, including Concealer. While many of the contaminants and chemicals in cosmetics and personal care products almost certainly pose very little risk, being exposed to a few is associated with major health problems, including cancer.
