While the majority of chemicals in beauty products and cosmetics pose minimal or absolutely no risk, several dozen have been linked to considerable health problems, such as cancer, and neurological harm. Chemicals in cosmetics enter the body through inhalation, the skin, and ingestion, and pose the same problems as food chemicals, per this site.
