While the majority of chemicals in cosmetic products pose minimal or no danger, some have been linked to serious health problems, such as cancer, reproductive and neurological harm, and developmental delays. Chemicals in cosmetics enter a person's body through the skin, inhalation, ingestion and internal use, and pose the same risks as food chemicals, per this site.
