Though most chemicals in beauty products and cosmetics pose limited or zero danger, several have been associated to significant health issues, including neurological harm and cancer. Cosmetic chemicals get into the body through inhalation, ingestion, and the skin, and cause the same risks as food chemicals, per this site.
