Though many chemicals in beauty products and cosmetics pose hardly any or absolutely no threat, dozens are linked to severe health conditions, including cancer, and neurological harm. Chemicals in cosmetics get into the body through the skin, inhalation, ingestion and internal use, and pose the same problems as food chemicals, per this site.
