While most chemicals in beauty products and cosmetics pose minimal or absolutely no danger, dozens have been linked with significant health issues, including cancer, and neurological harm. Chemicals in cosmetics can enter a person's body through the skin, inhalation, ingestion and internal use, and pose the same problems as food chemicals, per this site.
