Though most chemicals in beauty products and cosmetics present little or zero danger, several are associated with severe health problems, such as cancer, reproductive and neurological harm, and developmental delays. Chemicals in cosmetics invade a person's body through internal use, the skin, and inhalation, and lead to the same problems as food chemicals, per this site.

Chemicals and contaminants linked to cancer are found in food and many other everyday products.
