Though most chemicals in cosmetics present little or absolutely no risk, dozens are associated to serious medical problems, such as cancer, and neurological harm. Cosmetic chemicals gain entry to the body through internal use, the skin, and inhalation, and cause the same risks as food chemicals, per this site.

Chemicals associated with cancer are found in food, water, and lots of other everyday goods.
