Though many chemicals in beauty products pose limited or zero threat, several are associated with significant health conditions, including cancer, reproductive and neurological harm, and developmental delays. Cosmetic chemicals can enter the body through inhalation, ingestion, and the skin, and lead to the same problems as food chemicals, per this site.
