Chemicals associated with cancer can be found in food, water, and various other ordinary goods. However, no type of consumer goods is accountable to less government inspection than cosmetics and other personal products, including Spotlighters. While many of the chemicals in cosmetics most likely present very little risk, being exposed to a few has been associated with major health disorders, such as cancer.
