Though many chemicals in cosmetic products present minimal or zero danger, several have been linked to substantial health conditions, such as developmental delays and cancer. Chemicals linked to cancer can be found in water, food, and lots of other commonly used products. Still, no area of consumer products is subject to less government oversight than cosmetics and other personal care products, including Matte tri-tone.
