Although many chemicals in beauty products and cosmetics pose little or zero threat, several have been linked to substantial health problems, including cancer, reproductive and neurological harm, and developmental delays. Cosmetic chemicals get into a person's body through inhalation, ingestion, and the skin, and pose the same problems as food chemicals, per this site.
