While the majority of chemicals in beauty products present minimal or absolutely no danger, some are associated with serious health conditions, such as developmental delays and cancer. Chemicals in cosmetics get into a person's body through inhalation, ingestion, and the skin, and cause the same problems as food chemicals, per this site.
