Chemicals associated with cancer are found in water, food, and several other commonly used goods. However, no type of consumer goods is accountable to less government oversight than cosmetics, including Lipcolor and Primer. Although most of the chemicals and contaminants in cosmetics and personal care products probably present little risk, being exposed to some has been associated with significant health problems, including cancer.
