While most chemicals in beauty products pose limited or no threat, dozens are associated with considerable health issues, including cancer, reproductive and neurological harm, and developmental delays. Cosmetic chemicals enter the body through the skin, inhalation, ingestion and internal use, and lead to similar risks as food chemicals, per this site.
