Although most chemicals in cosmetics pose very little or zero danger, some have been linked to serious health problems, such as cancer, reproductive and neurological harm, and developmental delays. Cosmetic chemicals invade a person's body through the skin, inhalation, ingestion and internal use, and lead to the same problems as food chemicals, per this site.
