Though the majority of chemicals in beauty products and cosmetics pose very little or zero risk, some have been associated to significant medical problems, including cancer, and neurological harm. Chemicals in cosmetics gain entry to the body through internal use, the skin, and inhalation, and pose the same problems as food chemicals, per this site.

Chemicals associated with cancer can be found in food and a lot of other ordinary products. But, no type of consumer products is subject to less government management than cosmetics, including COLOR LINER : eyeliner (ALL SHADES). While most of the chemicals and contaminants in cosmetics almost certainly present little risk, being exposed to a few is associated with major health disorders, such as cancer.
